Yes — completely free. Creating an account, posting services, listing items in the marketplace, adding events, and chatting in city rooms all cost nothing. There are no premium tiers or subscription plans.

Click Register at the top of any page, enter your name, email, and a password, and you're done. No phone number or credit card required.

Local Services lets residents and businesses list the services they offer — plumbing, tutoring, cleaning, design, and more. Anyone in your city can browse listings and contact providers directly through the platform.

The Marketplace is a free buy-and-sell board for your community. You can post items for sale, browse listings by city, and message sellers directly. Transactions are arranged between buyers and sellers — SpecialBro does not process payments.

Anyone can create and publish local events — community meetups, garage sales, workshops, sports games, and more. Visitors can browse upcoming events by city and RSVP or get directions directly from the event page.

City Chat is a real-time public chat room for each city. Select your city and start talking with neighbours instantly. You must be logged in to send messages, but anyone can read the conversation.

After logging in, go to My Account → My City and search for your city from the dropdown. Your city is saved to your profile and used to personalise listings, events, and chat rooms shown to you.

No. Posting services, marketplace listings, or events requires a free account so that other users can contact you and so we can keep the community safe. Browsing is open to everyone without logging in.

Use the Contact Us link at the bottom of the page and describe the content you'd like us to review. We take reports seriously and aim to respond within 24 hours.

We collect only the information needed to run your account (name, email, city). We do not sell your data to third parties. Your password is stored encrypted, and you can delete your account at any time by contacting us.

SpecialBro currently supports cities across the United States and is expanding to more countries. Select your state during registration or from your account settings to see the cities available in your region.
